Welcome to the official website of The Heroes Project.

We are a disability arts based development organisation providing a number of initiatives that serve to recognise and engage people with a wide range of differing abilities and combined needs. Here you can find out about all our initiatives and access the latest news and information, as well as learn about the impact we have on the community. We have been operating successfully since 1998 and became registered as a charity in 2013 as part of our exciting development plans.

Our initiatives enable opportunity, encourage inclusion and recognise the equality of people affected by disability, with specific emphasis placed on the provision of performing arts and social development activitives for adults with a learning disability. Our initiatives help to promote recognition, build skills, assist personal development and enhance overall quality of life for all concerned!

Our work aims to combat some of the issues and the general lack of opportunities that many disabled people face. Activities and opportunities include: Artist development incorporating Creative Music Making & Studio Recording experiencesRadio Production & Broadcasting activities and Social Development opportunities at our award winning inclusive club night!
